Dr. Scott Kozin got his medical degree in Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1986.  He had his internship in Albert Einstein Medical Center as a preliminary General Surgeon in July 1987, and eventually had his residency on the same medical center way back 1987 of July to 1991.

He was once the President of American Society for Surgery of the Hand in 2014-2015 and the American Association for Hand Surgery in 2008-2009. He is also a Red Cross volunteer since 2004.

Through the years in the industry of medicine, some of the awards he received were the ‘Humanitarian Award’ by the American Association for Hand Surgery and Hand Surgery endowment last year of January and ‘Hector Kay Lecturer’ by the Association of Children’s Prosthetic-Orthotic Clinic, the annual meeting in Texas last March 2017.

Now, he is a clinical professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery in Lewis Kats School of Medicine at Temple University, an adjunct Clinical Professor in Sydney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and a chief of staff in Shriners Hospital for children.
